Construction companies offer five apartments in exchange of a construction site
All owners of plots of land in Bulgaria's towns and cities should know that they are potential millionaires. Should they decide to let construction companies erect a residential building on their property, they would get at least five apartments in return, real estate brokers said.
The compensation an investor would offer has now reached as much as 40 percent. The reason is the shortage of available terrains, said from the Address Real Estate Agency. That is exactly why the entrepreneurs are ready to do anything to lay their hands on a piece of land. Thus, if you could provide them with enough space to build a building of 2,000 square metres of built-up area you would receive in exchange five apartments, each of 120-130 square metres of floorage, costing about 100,000 euro in case the attractive plot of land is in Sofia. The average price for a square metre of residential property in Bulgaria is currently 737 euro. In 2007, the prices of real estates increased by 18,6% compared to 2006.
